This movie is just marvelous, stop motion for the win.

I really enjoyed it. Its definatly the best animated film, period, that's been released for years...
For me it was missing something though.. It was just one step away from being perfect, and I dont know why.... I moral of the whole thing was so clear, the whole temptation theme boomed through, but when it came down to the moments of peril, I didn't particularly feel for Coraline...
Like I said though, certainly brilliant ![]()
didnt saw it
I haven't even seen the movie yet, I keep hearing it's great but I can't be bothered to watch it.
I loved the book, and i like the director's work so i have high expectations.
I gotta watch it. It's gotta be better than the shit Disney's been making recently. Seriously what happened to non CGI animated movies?
its good the 3D in it actually made it better it wasn't gimmicky with it at all with it

man i keep missing all the good movies
I thought it was rather good - especially in 3D, what i found funniest about it was the reaction it sparked because parents ran to imdb to complain it was far too terrifying for children.

I just saw Up in 3D... its really surprising how much it literally draws you into the film... When its done right, you lose yourself. Up was spectacular..
Yeah I said UK in October.... but there was a premiere when I went to Glastonbury, so I had to grab it. One of the best films I've seen. It dives really dark.... but gets really positive.. Its not just a moral at the end, but one with a really heavy contrast, which makes it all the more powerful. Probably one of my favorite films.
Oh Coroline? Missed that in 3D ![]()

I really loved Coraline just because it was like the time i watched James and the Giant Peach for the first time. Seeing it took me way back and the adult themes like the Nightmare before Christmas, I hope they have another of the same caliber when my kids can see them in theaters.
yo im coraline yo yo y0

I've personally never seen the movie. But i did hear lots of both good and bad reviews

haaha I just saw Coraline and I thought it was shit
It wasn't shit, it was just out-paced. I mean, at some point of the movie it seemed like I was watching a videogame ("Help us get our eyes back!").
Also it was supposed to be for kids, and it had some serious mature stuff going through (That big-boobed lady, for example)...
Don't read this!
Ass. You read it.

wow you're an idiot

When i saw the movie, i thought it was good, but it had too much mature stuff. The scares were crazy in 3D, The big boobed lady was too weird.
"nice day.... we're gonna do it my way...." YES WE ARE. xD -Me
Caroline was a good also bad movie the only part that was good when she fight the widow mom
DR.OCTOGANAPUS!
I really enjoyed it; it managed to have a main character who's a plucky young girl and have it not be annoying as hell. Also it takes balls to make a family movie with horror in it.
