HDD, have you ever thought of doing Animation Tutorials?, they would make a change to the mundane people usually found rambling on about Boring Flash tools.

flash tutorials have always been god fucking awful and most likely always will be
id suggest just opening flash and dicking around until you think you have the hang of it

I actually learned to use flash via tutorials
But teaching's not my thing. I don't know how to use flash any better than anyone else, really

when i was 13 and messing with flash, it took me like a month to figure out how to change the FPS on my own i was like FUCK

Everybody's got their own style when it comes to Flash. It'd be interesting to see your approach, but maybe not full-on tutorial worthy...

lmfao I had almost the same problem. I kept animating in tweens for some reason, like, always. I never used the main timeline for anything. I also animated all on one layer cause I didn't know of layers.
I also tried to FBF without onion skin and let me tell you, that is fucking hard.
the only good tutorials are video tutorials on youtube or something.

When I first started, I was under the impression I could change the fps for individual scenes, so the first movie I made got progressively slower since I started the movie animating at like 9 fps and ended at 24. It was awful. Also Psi, same here, I didn't even know about onion skin until my second year. Also, I refused to ever use symbols until like fucking 2007.

Back when I started when I was like, 11 in flash 4 or something, I always thought tweening was the only way you could animate stuff since drawing them all out would take like, a billion, bajillion years.
Then I found out about onion skins and i was like holy crap why the hell did I ever use tweening.
